The Last Few Months

I've been really bad about keeping up with people recently. Well, let's just be honest. It's been months since I've really written anyone at all. So, here goes everything I've been leaving out (that I can remember).
Eden is growing right on up. She loves to pose for pictures, write people letters and notes (yes, some of you have them in the works), eat tons of breakfast and no dinner, and just leave her hair "wild" instead of letting me fix it. She's recognizing letters and numbers and seems to be one of the most comforting girls I know when she's in the mood.

Harper turned two in December. He's finally turning in to a boy and has thrown off the crowns and high heals and taken on swords, knives, and guns (of all imagined shapes and sizes). He aparently loves the beach. We'll have to go more often I think. He sings all day long, and if you could only see him dance ;). Before bed, he needs a good tackling and fighter plane routine from Brad. Brad is a great sport.

And then there's Frank. He's seven months old now and I'm finding myself not so anxious for him to be moving around. He's always finding the things he can't have. So far his favorite thing is Brad's laptop. He schemes to get to it too. Last night he knocked something over. Brad set down his computer to fix it and Frank went for it. I think he did it two or three times. You can almost see him thinking, "Guys, check this out. I can get dad to put it down again." He's great though. Every time we pick him up he pats our back. Maybe it's just what we call, "slot-machine arm," but it's fun for us and cute.
Gram and Grandad came to see us around the new year and they stayed through my b.day. It was a wonderful visit. Grandad made bunk beds (with lots of help) and Gram introduced us to a new treat. The kids loved the visit and still talk about it. They use their bunk beds as toys, playing on them for hours at a time. We went to the beach before they headed off to UT. We miss them.
In other news, our dog Sophie got hit by a car. She has staples in her rear and a fractured pelvis, but she's recovering and getting better every day. I'm anxious for her to be fully recovered so we can get back to walking. In the mean time, she's getting spoiled! We love her though. Eden colored a picture for her today and Harper just wanted to be outside with her. Good stuff.
